Custom House Studios with the Creel Restaurant Westport Quay are pleased to host a reading of LIKE A MARBLE ROLLED, a contemporary epic poem written and preformed by Artist / Poet Phoebe Dick on Thursday January 26th 2012, 8.30pm at The Creel Restaurant, Westport Quay. LIKE A MARBLE ROLLED is a contemporary epic poem written and preformed by Phoebe Dick. It tells the story of a journey two friends make across a city. Part spoken word, part slideshow, part good old fashioned storytelling, this LIKE A MARBLE ROLLED is 75 minutes of bardic tradition with a modern twist. Phoebe Dick is an artist from County Sligo. She performed as part of the New Voices line up at Electric Picnic 2011 and her first collections of poetry The Gap in my C.V. was shortlisted for the 2010 Patrick Kavanagh award.
