Two day Course: An Introduction to Collagraph and Caborundum Printmaking

A collagraph is a print taken of a plate, made from collaged materials.
In this workshop you will learn to use carborundum, acrylic mediums and everyday things; like card, tape, cling film, string, aluminium foil, sandpaper, tetra packs, etc, to make your own collagraph plates for creating simple or complex multi plate prints.
Collagraph and caborundum can be a playful and painterly process which adapts well for both abstract and figurative work.

One day Gelli Plate Printing Course

Gelli Plate Printing is a technique that lets you make a monoprint on a reusable plate without the use of a printing press.
In this course Susie will show you the versatility of this fun process using acrylic paints and everyday materials and textures such as foliage, cardboard and stencils.
Each student is encouraged to bring their own ideas for images but it is not essential.
